The aims of Miss World Peace are lofty. The Beauty Queen Chosen will be appointed United Nations Peace Ambassador, obliged to discharge duties of promoting world peace assigned to her by the United Nations including visit to war-stricken children to spread the message of love and care. The true significance of the pageant is to appeal to the people of the world to unite, harmonize and create peace.

Miss World Peace brings to all viewers and to humankind a vision of all things bright and beautiful. Furthermore, it unequivocally spreads this important message : “ Only in peace can there be beauty. Peace is Beautiful! Long live peace! ”

《世界和平小姐》大賽選出的冠軍將獲聯合國授予“和平大使”，有義務和責任從事聯合國安排的推動世界和平的宣傳工作及探訪和關愛受過戰火的兒童，其真正意義是通過大賽呼籲世界的人們團結和諧，創建和平。《世界和平小姐》為廣大觀眾和全人類帶來美好事物和生活的憧憬，同時更清晰地傳送這重要的訊息，有和平才有美好。

The International Day of Peace 國際和平日

The first ceremony of The International Day of Peace was held on the third Tuesday of September in 1982, United Nations hereby stipulated that 21^stof September was The International Day of Peace since 2002.

The aims of The International Day of Peace are lofty. Through education and promotion to appeal the peoples of all countries terminating any hostilities, also assembling all leaguer of United Nations, Regional Organization, Nongovernmental Organization and Individual to cooperate towards cease-fire, harmonize and celebrate peace!

Bearing with the same aspiration, Miss World Peace beauty pageant are signalized as well!

國際和平日 ( The International Day of Peace ) 首次慶祝活動於八二年舉行，原本訂定每年九月第三個星期二進行慶祝，及後聯合國大會從零二年起把此日定於每年九月二十一日。

國際和平日的宗旨是呼籲所有國家和人民於當日停止敵對行動，並號召所有會員國、聯合國各組織、區域組織、非政府組織和個人，通過教育和宣傳等慶祝和平日，與聯合國合作實現全球停火。
